I also use the TC-3, I’ve noticed they aren’t exactly perfectly calibrated, or maybe the block itself heats up from the amount of power draw for my 1.5kW electric heater, so mine turns on around 36°F or 35°F, and turns off quickly (sometimes at 37 or 38°F). This is actually preferable for me since I just want to keep my greenhouse above freezing while minimizing heating costs. So far it’s been very reliable, even if not wonderfully calibrated.

Here’s a chart showing a couple nights where the heat was triggered by the TC-3 (it’s been very rare this fall/winter, mostly it’s been warmer than 40°F in there):

Make and Model. I don’t know. It is in the greenhouse and inaccessible now.

Temperatures dropped to 20F this morning and the fan switch was off so the greenhouse cooled down.


My in greenhouse tomato plant did fine.

Therefore the lemons are fine too. LUCKY ME
