Mis-identified plant

Last year I purchased two plants, I think from Walmart, that were listed as Crandal currant. they grew OK until mid summer then suffered in the heat. Reading about them they sound like they should do good with a little more shade so I purchased a couple more from Whitman Farms. After ordering I realized I didn’t need to, since I already had a couple, I rooted several cuttings.
Now that the Crandals from Whitmans have leafed out I realize the originals are not Crandal currants. Any idea what these are? I now have 10 of them growing well.

They could be Jostaberry or a Gooseberry.

looks like some type of euro. black currant( Ribes nigrum) to me. no thorns. crandal doesnt root easy like euro blacks do. do they have a strong musky smell when the leaves are rubbed? they should make great jam and juice.
