I just bought a couple of these apples today. Has anyone tried them yet? They apparently originated in Italy.

I finally ate one. It’s a pretty decent apple. Very crisp with a more traditional apple flavor and less sweetness than the crisp, supersweet, sometimes flavorless apples that are now becoming more popular in the US.
I just found those for the first time this week! I agree completely - pretty decent flavor compared to most grocery store varieties. I hope this is a sign we’ll start seeing some more traditional apples come into popularity.
