Much better blackberries this year

Last year I was very disappointed with the blackberries. Big, watery, sour, yuk. This year I withheld water and fertilizer after flowering. Much better berries this year. Tight, more blackberry flavor, and sweeter. Trying to get enough for a batch of seedless blackberry jam.
