Musa "High Noon" aka SH-3640

Back in the Fall of 2019 I obtain a pup of Musa “High Noon” from a colleague in south Florida. Here it is back then freshly potted … and now today the 2nd generation transplanted from the pot into a banana bed. :slightly_smiling_face:

What’s special about it, if I may ask?

Shorter fruiting height 7’-8’ and excellent flavor. Grown extensively in central America and Chile, but not for the U.S. market. We’ll see how it performs here!

Has it sent any flag leaf since you’ve been growing it?

I’m expecting one this year.

They weren’t this way yesterday, but they sure were ready to pick today!

The flavor is rich banana + a little peach.

Do they have seeds?

@KS_razerback
Nope, they are a seedless cultivar from a central American breeding program.
