Musk cucumber, casabanana, cohombro

Curious if anyone here has grown it. I got some seeds from a fruit I found in a road side stand in Nicaragua. I germinated them inside, transplanted outside after temps got above 60f. Didn’t do any thing until temps reached 80F and then took off! It has made a huge vine, growing what seems feet per day, and it has not stopped producing.
The fruit is still green, I really hope it will get to maturity before the frost comes. Have anyone grown it, and if so, how was your experience and how do you use eat it?

Wow, congratulations! Cassabanana is a great fruit as i read. Infortunately i still couldnt grow it but you can eat as a melon.

I considered growing it, but I thought it wasn’t warm enough for the required number of days here.
@Luisport I think exotic seeds out of Zagreb have it on offer occasionally.

Well if it does make it to maturity I’d be happy to send seeds.
