Chicago has some left so are these, VDS! Maybe a dozen, very large!
VDS IS A VERY healthy tree and productive to say the least, love them, a solid 6 as far as taste. For me, have to grow at least 3 trees. Wife? Taste great!!

I like VDS too. Some similar figs are Maltese Beauty and Noire de Barbentane.
I just harvested my first Bec de Pardue. First time, nice size, berry flavor. Not sure I’ll keep it as I need a few years to evaluate properly. Not bad for this late in the season. I had a great year with figs.
