I had a Clapps once. Succomed to Fire Blight. The Flemish Beauty is doing the same right now.

& @moose71 seeing as this thread is now a few years old I wanted to see if you guys had any follow-up to this theory.
well all 4 grafts took and have put on 12-14in. of new growth. unfortunately they aren’t z4 hardy like i thought but are z5 rated. if i lose them to winter kill ill just order some z3-4 hardy scions and replace them next spring.
