New neighbor building his new vacation home on the lake owns a chemical business not for public use. He gave me this trap, it has a concrete base, the chemical use is not available for general public like Lowe etc.

Pass for me. Birds of prey and snakes and things that eat poisoned mice end up being killed.
Lots of news about eagles and owls and hawks poisoning themselves and their babies by feeding them the humans poisoned rodents.
Glue traps and spring traps indoors work for me… outdoors i let the predators hunt their prey.
Same thing for Voles. Snakes eat them after they are poisoned and it kills the snakes.
I can understand that some folks and businesses dont want predators or prey so in that case there is a need/desire for chemicals.

i only do it under the snow here so they go back to their dens underground to die. as well as predators , i dont want my 3 dogs and cat to get killed either.

I use this trap strictly around the house, no pets. I have 4 different size traps for my garden. Buzzards loves my place, they are my cleanup crew.
