Does this have another name? I’ve never heard of a green persimmon, other than black sapote I guess (Diospyros digyna), but those leaves don’t look like black sapote.

By nature. I don’t polinate anything by hand.

That’s awesome! I have two mature NA Pawpaw trees with flowers on them this year. This is the second year for flowers. I will not leave it to nature, I am going to try to hand pollinate because I have waited too many years to have pawpaws from my own trees! :grinning:

Lol, yes, I have many pollinators, but I can not leave it to chance this year! I do not hand pollinate 99% of my fruit… but these pawpaws, no I must not leave it to chance! :laughing:

I put sugar and pulp from juice on the base of pawpaws to atract insects…

Maybe I will try that too, thanks! I have read that others hang meat from the tree. Might try the carcass of a chicken too.
