Didn’t realize the pods would be brown, I’ve had the larger ones edulis I think and the pods were green
This inga species have small pods of clear brown color. It’s the hardiest inga variety.
I have a bunch of edulis seedlings I’m experimenting if any can survive the winter in 8b so we will see come spring haha. Maybe I’ll have to try vulpina next. Is the taste comprable? Or have you tried edulis, I really like edulis
The flavor is sweet, juicy and floral. We like it a lot. I didn’t try other species.
