Oh i have several grafts on my jaboticaba de cabinho tree… Aureana, Grimal, Novak, Malacacheta and Red Hibrid took.

Does grafting speed up fruiting or are they still a 5-10 year fruiting process?

Yes it speeds up fruiting. If you graft a scion on a fruiting tree or root a small branch of a tree that already fruit it will start getting fruit very fast.
