How many years did it take for your tamarillos to produce?

I think about 2 or 3 years. I have them for 10 years already i think

Ah, thats slower than I thought. Alot of places say they can fruit in a year, I thought that sounded a little dubious.

They can but depends on your weather. Here almost all winter seasons have frost. They can die to the roots but sprout on spring if they are already somewhat big.
