I just got one hill banana from Himachal Pradesh (Himalayan Mountain) and one Musa x Fruit that is a cold hardy, fast growing and 2,5m banana variety.

Beautiful beach and flowers. I especially like the pink/white caladium with the red or pink (can’t tell from the picture.) blotches.

The Black Boy peach from NZ looks like that (in my climate, at least) and is available in the US. I’ll try to remember to take a photo when they start ripening later this month.

Hi! We call it just blood peach… i buyed it on a local small market so i don’t know if it’s any specific variety.

I’ve read speculation that most or all of such varieties are descended from the class of French peaches known as Pêche de Vigne. I believe that @scottfsmith has grown several of the French versions, as well as Black Boy and Indian Free, and likely can speak more knowledgeably about them.

I think that’s very plausible. We got many old fruit varieties from France during french invasions…
Thank’s a lot for you reply and info! :+1:

Those passionfruit are beauties! I just bought 2 of them and am in the middle of having a 50’ long trellis fence built for them, as well as to hide my ugly propane tank. LOL

Thank’s! They are not growing much because i have to grow them on big pots… last year my passionfruit vines were killed by rats or other small animal.
