My small fruit tree orchard

I came upon one of those trees or large shrubs in downtown San Francisco,but never tried the fruit,not knowing if they were edible.Another name they have is Lilly Pilly and in New Zealand,they’re commonly called Monkey Apples.

Hello my friend how are you?
Mine is not lili pili. Lili pili is Syzygium smithii. Mine is australian bush cherry that is Syzygium paniculatum. This fruit is lovely, is magenta inside with a lot of refreshing juice. Not sweet but it’s not acid too! :yum:

I’m getting better after my surgery,thanks.
There are a few sources that refer to yours as the Magenta Lilly Pilly or Magenta Cherry.
I guess there are a lot of common names for plants,which makes the other scientific descriptions,even more important.

@Luisport

That looks delicious! How do you juice it and what does the juice look and taste like? I envision everyone using a bullet for fast and inexpensive juice.

We juice our fruits and leaves with a slow juicer. It tastes good… obviously depends on what fruits we use. We juice seeds and nuts too…

Calatheas and orchids @Luisport ?
I am not so lucky with Calatheas, bought a bunch of them including a white fusion Calathea that my partner wanted and they are all almost dead.
Tried everything, humidity, unchloronidated water, etc… and they all look terrible ahah…

On the other hand my monsteras deliciosas are a monster, i need to up pot one of them but starting to lack space ahah

Monstera at the right and a black sapote on the left :slight_smile:

For the looks you might need to try a different type of soil.
