I found this, rather lethargic, weevil hanging out on my Enterprise apple yesterday while doing some budding.
It is waaaay too elongate for plum or apple curculio. Any thoughts? I took no chances. It got squished.
Looks like it could be one of these. I have plenty of its host plants around - Field thistle (the native kind) and what we call sour-dock.
