After 25 years of no apple growing might get the bug again. Bought 3 apple varieties from all places, Walmart!! Ambrosia, Jazz, Opal. Have to say Opal was a excellent variety I might grow. My alltime favorite was Melrose, grew several tree’s on M27 than. M27 produces full size apples plus excellent tasting but not many.

My Walmart Rockit apple was super sweet and crisp. No acid detectable so not for everyone I think my kids would have enjoyed them when they were young.

Unless you know how to get scions from Europe, or have a farm worker in
Washington you are in close contact With…good luck getting yourself a tree of OPAL.
But, it is refreshingly different from Yello Delicious.
