Pulled one of my (still green) Desiree potato plants to use the new potatoes.
These look almost pink when washed

Also dug one Kennebec and one German Butterball. These need to wait longer.
Kennebec had only three tubers and they were about tennis-ball sized at best. GB had a LOT of tubers, but all egg sized or smaller.
I like Desire and keep growing them, but they aren’t very popular at Farmers Market. My guess is the pink skin doesn’t stand out.
