A few of our small citrus trees just pushed new growth, and some of it looks messed up. My best guess is leaf miners, and there are some small eggs. Any opinions as to what’s doing the damage, and what spray/treatment to use. have seen a litle of this in the past, but it was no big deal, but this time it’s a little more serious.
Definitely leaf miners. Spinosad can help, but spray in the evening when all the pollinators are gone, else you’ll kill them too.
Ok sounds good. Will give it a shot.
@edweather - Right, the curled leaves are from leaf miners - you can see the meandering tunnels in your photos.
The little orange eggs are giant swallowtail butterfly eggs. Their caterpillars get to be almost the size of your Pinky and look like a bird dropping.
Don’t cut off the curled leaves, as the leaf still contributes to the health of the tree.
Watch out for Asian citrus psyllids on new growth though…

Tyson thanks. I was wondering what the small orange eggs were. I try and keep a close eye on the small trees, and pick off those caterpillars when I see them.
