I just joined because I wanted to trade for some things I’ve been looking for awhile and hopefully not pay an arm and a leg. Apparently I can’t access the trading tab until I meet some requirements, which I guess is a good thing. What are those requirements?
I think you need a little history, but I don’t know how much; you’d do it in the Trading Post (guess that’s obvious!) and just be up front and straight like you are here.
I think it’s to keep people from spamming.
What are you looking for, and what do you have to offer in exchange? I guess it’s safe to assume you’re a hobbyist and not looking to build a business, is that right?
Greetings. Hopefully it will not come to “Jus Primae Noctis” involving one of our Overlords.
More senior forum users can move your topic to the trading post section. You don’t get access to it right away. Feel free to post it and someone can move it for you
@Endirenay … most of the trading is done over the winter months, some into late winter, early spring.
You basically post a list of what all you can provide… and what you need or want.
You might have a mulberry and persimmon that I want… and I have apples, pears that you want.
I normally collect scion late January, early February… and ship it once weather/temps look ok for that.
Most trades do not involve money… just a sort of even trade is all most want.

Right now I’m really only looking for Avocado and starfruit scions, I can get them on eBay but I would rather not. I have some trees I grew from seed and would like to graft. The starfruit is in a 15 gallon pot and 2 avocados in 25 gallon pots, grown in a small greenhouse.
I am trying to start a business for fruit trees and other edible plants, but these scions would be for personal use. To trade right now I don’t have much of good size, I have a lot of figs and a few goji berries. I also have some citrus cuttings if you live in a place I can ship them to.
Thanks, I’ll make a list and see if I can get it moved over. I’m looking specifically for avocado and starfuit scions which as I’m told can still be harvested now even if it’s late
