I know this is an old thread, but I’m sitting here looking at a book that compiled early USDA watercolors and I thought the “Butter Sweet of Pennsylvania” looked really interesting. I tried that news link from above and it’s no longer valid. Does anyone know where I could get a scion of it?
Lost Apple Project sells it, unfortunately you missed the cutoff by a couple days. I think they stopped taking orders Saturday night. Maybe someone in this group has it available.

I should have scions next year. My graft got nibbled in half by a deer otherwise I would have had some this year.
This is the link to the Lost Apple Project. Like @highdesertheritage mentioned you just missed the cutoff for this year. https://thefruithouse.weebly.com/

Did your scions survive and did you get fruit? Was it the tree?
I appreciate the offer. I’m going to see if I can get it this year somehow. Otherwise, I’ll try to be on time for the Lost Apple Project next year. Thanks all
