It’s rough right now in the drought & heat dome of summer in Northeast Texas. We don’t have any automated irrigation and it’s too hot to have my toddler outside with me in daylight hours safely, so I don’t start watering until after I get him down for the night. The main highlight of watering after dark is definitely the night skies! Here are a few photos I’ve taken while watering trees in recent weeks. I’d love to see the skies over your orchards too.

Great photos! I might see if I can get any good pix when I water very early in the morning this week (about 4).

And right now (4:50 am MDT) Venus and Jupiter are conjunct in the eastern sky. Also beautiful!
