Northstar Cherry - SCARRING

Any idea as to what would cause these scars on a NORTHSTAR cherry.

There are no such marks on the Montmorency Cherry near buby nor on any of the other sweet cherries.

Thanx
Mike

That could be thrips damage that occurred soon after bloom. It looks similar to the damage thrips can do to nectarine. If the fruit matures it will be OK to eat.

Fruitnut,

Thirps…? just when I ran out of things to worry about!!!

Thanx
Mike
