Not all copper fungicide is created equal

I have a jug of Southern Ag copper fungicide and noticed it’s not labeled for use on cherries, but reading Bonides label… It is. I didn’t recall mine was southern ag and used it on my cherry trees. Whups. Though this is not a good thing, I am assuming it’s not a calamity?

It should not be a problem at all. Compare ingredients, are they both copper sulfide? If so it’s cool. I don’t know of any copper formulation that hurts cherry trees. I use Copper Hydroxide which is leagues stronger than the product you’re using.

I’ve sprayed copper sulfate on my cherry trees with no issues, so I think your ok.
