Nursery Suggestions for Mast and Native Fruit Trees?

I’d like to get people’s recommendations for nurseries that sell trees, preferably in bulk, for wildlife, mostly hard mast like oaks and soft mast like persimmons, pear, crabapple, etc. This would be a footplot planting.

Given shipping costs, something in the southeast is probably ideal.

I’ve suggested this outfit to some customers and friends:

wildlifegroup.com

They have a pretty good selection.

The link to their “Trees for Wildlife” page appears to be presently broken, but this is another one that I had bookmarked:

I recommend Cold Stream Farm . Lots of options, good prices on larger orders. They’ve sent quality trees for work for years, we’ve probably planted thousands.

It depends on what you are looking for. I’ve ordered from Century Farm Orchards and The Wildlife Group. Blue Hill Nursery and WhitetailCrabs are good options as well. State nurseries are another option for bulk and price.

I got some seedlings , mostly 6 to 12 inches tall, from Cold Stream Farm. Good price, but you’ll need a bit of patience before there’s fruit at some point in the future. The few 1/8 inch ones I grafted to, a decent % took…the others…let’s say some have grown enough to be good 2024 grafting rootstocks.
