Aw, I love that! My big sweet, very old dog died last fall and he was just like that, in the sweetest way.
My little old chihuahua mix isn’t. He doesn’t like leaving the couch for me getting up for a minute. He’ll eventually just start barking for me to come back if I’m gone for long, lol. He still runs like the wind and has tons of energy, btw. He’s just not that interested!

Yup so true. My dog looks at me like I’m about to do something amazing when I’m just going to the bathroom. Wishful thinking I guess?
