i also like that if you only want 1 rasp. just to trial before committing to a patch .

Placed an order the same day with StrawberryIsland and so far all they have done is created a label… so they are the slowest so far. I have ordered from them before and been happy though.

I dont think ive ever been burned on Etsy by anyone and some of the smaller nurseries really do a great job if not better than major nurseries. I have been burned two or three times on Ebay but that was from new sellers that had things that were probably too good to be true anyways.
I have also ordered a few things through Etsy and I have never had a problem. Recently I ordered ten strawberry plants divided into two varieties. The order was sent to me quick with two extra plants of each one. These were bare root and they are growing well.
Just thought I would update that burpee finally reshipped my Flavorfest last week and they were mostly all healthy and distinctly different from the first dead batch. Though, they said they were doing it as a one time favor because they consulted with their horticulturist who said, Flavorfest just has black/grey roots…I decided it was best to just say thanks and not comment on that.
Starks earliglow were all healthy and took.
Of the 3 varieties planted in the last few weeks, Albion is winning the vigor race. They’ve been tripling in size and flowering.
I have wasted a lot of money ordering bareroot and roots of native perennials from Etsy. I tried 4 times because getting burned 3 wasn’t enough. The fruit sellers seem to be better. I got pomegranate cuttings off Etsy this year that are all thriving.
Since this place hasn’t been mentioned yet - I bought a variety of alpines from Backyard Berry Plants a few weeks ago and had excellent experience with them. All the plants look healthy, have big roots, and so far look pretty happy.
Received my order from Scenic Hill… best roots so far and packaged well. (bare root not potted).
I got mislabeled strawberries from them in the past a few times so i stopped ordering there.
The week before last I received my first bare root strawberry plants (Albion) from Indiana Berry and was impressed. They are about twice the size of the Stark Bros. bare root strawberry plants, so I had to use the 3.5in deep pots instead of the 3.5in square pots. I just ordered some more for my vertical planter.
