After a spring frost and two fall frosts, the orchard finally yielded its first peach ever. Sadly, didn’t check the peach yesterday as it had fallen to the ground, fortunately, inside the vol-cage. Still, it was on the ground long enough for ants to drill into the flesh.
After blowing out/off maybe 100 ants, a first taste. ‘Twas satisfying.
