So, I was wondering how come you transferred your young trees this time of the year instead of the spring time seeing your in zone4?
Wife had our son in march, finally had time to plant them.

Yes, you are all on baby time now. Doing things when you can not when you want to. Congrats to you and your wife though on the new addition.

@Holleg44 Gary, I have some Fireside, Enterprise and Hewe’s Virginia Crab scions from pruning if you’re interested. The Enterprise is a disease resistant variety from the PRI program that you may like, and it stores well in refrigeration. The other two I’ll let you research to see if you’re interested in them. These scions should be in much better condition than what I sent you last year, i cut them yesterday and they look nice. Our low for winter was only -17.5F.
