For the heralding of New Year’s 2024, the city of Milwaukie Oregon now has a ceremony where a 6-foot LED ball resembling a red cherry on a green stem ( in honor of the Bing cherry.) is “dropped” at midnight.

The event is being branded as “Bing in the New Year”.
