Galina told me once to put b. currant leaves in pickles . the tannin in them keeps your pickles crunchy. i havent tried it yet myself.

i think you can make a tea out of them as well. I did it once. The leaves have a strong musky flavor similar to the fruit. Forget if you have to dry the leaves or can use them fresh though.

Do you have any posts or pictures about your black currant processing and jam recipe? How do you get the stems out for 30 pints? Do you process the jars in a hot water bath?

my BC dont have stems in them when I pick them… I just pick the berries

I use it in my oatmeal and it’s awesome! But like others said pastries and ice cream etc there’s a million ways! It’s amazing with venison

i have and it was delicious. my wifes not a fan but she loves the juice i make from them. it needs to be diluted with water in half or its too rich.
