hey folks. i have about 30 pint jars of black currant jam to use. i was wondering what other things i could use it in besides the obvious ones? any recipes appreciated.
Have you done a layer cake with jam inside?
Fruit jam usually goes well with some meats like chicken, pork, but depends on what the jam is like.
Fruit leather it?
Food bank?
you could get a large sheet of plastic and hire some dancers to wrestle in it…

Baked brie! I personally love a sweet/savory mix of raspberry jam and fresh rosemary, and currant would substitute for raspberry beautifully!
Sandwiched between two layers of puff paste!
Barbecue sauce?
In a milkshake or simply watered down into a thicker black currant juice
i glazed a ham with it once for x mas. was awesome.
when i made juice i had to cut it 2/3rds with water it was so rich. tastes like the best concord grape juice ever!
It was over ten years ago that Looza stopped making black current juice, that was a major grocery loss for me.
