After a nasty fall/winter/spring my figs and citrus trees are doing great, can’t complain! Actually I already forgot about the crummy winter. Citrus trees are in heavy bloom, sure happy about it! Changing fertilizer for my figs, hopefully they’re putting out another strong year. Flowers? Roses and others going strong!
I am still rebounding. I am wondering about replacing said plants and what went wrong. The plants inside plastic containers I am not replacing because I think the plastic is partially what killed them with the cold. I read somewhere that the grow bags seem to keep plants a few more degrees warmer and that appears to be true from what I saw last winter. Even with the grow bags I suffered some loses though so I may replace what was in those. That will allow me to focus on a few less plants too. I am enjoying the warmth after last winter for sure.
