This is truly great apple. I was a bit skeptical, thinking it would be just big, watery nothing but I was wrong. Very sweet Fuji like apple with more fragrance to it. Ripens late in the season (in my area ond of October, bit before Goldrush I would say) and tastes like turnip if picked early, even beginning of October.
I grow about 50 varieties of apples (45 trees) and this one is definitely in the top 5 so far.
I appreciate (would say almost worship) varieties that are carefree and I have never seen any signs of mildew/scab on these, truly remarkable since I got a lot of both. Also only minimal thinning required
