Peach buds?

I am no expert on peaches. But my understand for dormant peachs buds is as follows. I could be all wrong. if so, please feel free to correct me.

Single bud = leaf
Two buds next to eachother = leaf + flower
Three buds next to eachother = leaf + flower + branch.

Is this correct?

No, one will be branch or leaves and any more are usually blossoms.

The one with a sharp end is vegetative and rounded is a flower
