Peach Tree Pest Identification

Hello, below are some photos of 1) an ant species that is climbing up and down my peach trees and 2) a clear ooz that is coming out of just one of my peaches. It’s developed more at the stem since I last took these photos.

Any help in identifying these two things and if they are problems- suggested solutions would be greatly appreciated.

Pestilence for sure

To keep ants off the tree wrap tape around the trunk and then but Tanglefoot on the tape.
