Do you guys know what kind of borer this might be in my pecan tree? I’d also be curious to know what kind of control is realistic.

My guess is the tree was neglected or drought killed part of it then those termite like bugs get in and eat dead wood. i don’t think they caused the damage, they showed up after damage was done.
