Penn State Webinar on Tree Fruit

Penn State will conduct several webinars on tree fruit on Saturday mornings in March. The cost is $15 per seminar. I have never taken one of these before, so I’m not quite sure what to expect. I do have several paper manuals on Fruit Production from Penn State that are very good that I often refer to. They also offer free webinars on topics related to fruit growing from time to time.

Here is the link to the webinar:

The webinar does sound interesting. Penn State says you need Adobe Connect and speakers or headphones to participate.

I’m not familiar with Adobe connect, I need to check it out. A free webinar they conducted last week used a Citix product that downloaded automatically. Looks like they need to set and maintain one standard method.

I found the link below which contained some useful info and a place to sign up for their “Fruit Times” newsletter: http://extension.psu.edu/plants/tree-fruit/news

I e mailed them about requirements to participate and that’s what they told me. I haven’t looked Adobe Connect yet. I was surprised since the old webinars didn’t need anything special. I’m guessing it is to allow participants to send in questions
