Permethrin for clothing application

Ticks have been showing up and I’d like to treat my orchard and outdoor work clothing with Permithrin.

Does anyone know of a particular formulation or brand that is useable for clothing.

I suspect that the formulations we buy for our trees is usable but no doubt it is more expensive than those that are not fruit tree safe.

Mike

I used to use a Permanone spray can- put clothes in the driveway, spray both sides, let dry.

This is the one I use (good for 3 washings if I recall correctly): https://www.amazon.com/Sawyer-Products-SP6572-Permethrin-Repellent/dp/B07CD9NFB4/ref=pd_bap_rp_11?_encoding=UTF8&pd_rd_i=B07CD9NFB4&pd_rd_r=896d9175-c523-474b-9a49-e9e952dd4d83&pd_rd_w=EHacj&pd_rd_wg=EN8ZG&pf_rd_p=538f685d-56f6-4691-8d0e-42ace2b82646&pf_rd_r=BMPQM6MCJAF1BRJS3A2W&psc=1&refRID=YYBTH62NMD22CRDTAKVP

I use the sawyer and it has changed my life.
Before, I spent the entire summer covered in chigger bites just from going out to my backyard garden/orchard.
Now, I am bite-free.

I started using the Sawyer product last year after a couple of ticks found their way to me.

Not a single tick since then

I just spray my jeans from the knees to the ground and let dry. I do it at the start of the gardening season and again a month later. I did not spray my socks or my shirts
