That’s disappointing to hear that your Nikita’s Gift still drops a lot even with pollination! I read that pollination was supposed to help mitigate this problem and grafted male scions this year. Maybe one of your trees throws male flowers occasionally. Have you tried planting the seeds to see if any of the resulting plants are cold hardy?
based on previous conversations with others on this board, extensive NG fruit drop is very common. I started spraying with fungicide this year wondering if it’s a fungal issue. I think it might be a sun issue as well, where the NG that gets more sunlight tends to hold onto more fruit.
I haven’t planted any of the seeds… unfortunately I don’t have the patience or space to experiment too much.
