Persimmons 2026

Had a question … is Szuki’s a Male that has female flowers (M/f) or vice-versa (F/m)?
I found this chart which implies Szuki’s if a M/f (’f’ in lower-case implying its mostly a male but with some female flowers), but BlueHill webpage says its a female but with about as many male flowers on it (pretend a 50/50 mix… hmm maybe i should call it then a M/F, both letters capitalized implying one isn’t dominant). Curious if there any popular M/f’s known (maybe F-100, Thor, F-90?)?…

Also, if someone wants scionwood of Szuki’s do you have to be careful and get a branch that showed both M+F flowers. or doesn’t matter, can just take any branch from it to graft? Saw a reference here in that the flowering might be due to a chimera cells mixing vs pure genetics and was curious what people think.
