Photos of nearby Wildlife areas

I’m not sure how many are growing fruit in wildlife areas. Does anyone own land bordering against state or national parks? This is part of the Delaware River and lakes it connects. This area is nothing but timber rattler snakes , quicksand, and any and everything else that may want to kill me or hide in there. Beautiful from the bridge, but I remind myself often the last time I was in there. It was decades ago. It nearly killed me a mile from there in chest deep quicksand. You get to enjoy the photo, but you don’t need to take the chance. That area is more swamp than River. Gorilla grafters? There are a few callery pears around.

I take it that’s not the Delaware river in Pennsylvania.

there was a pond i used to go to catch brook trout from. the fishing was phenominal but the blackflies were horrible and the swamp mud sinkholes were like that. you had to go in there with 2 people to pull each other out. the cedars were so thick that even on sunny days it was dark when you got in there. felt like you were in another world. its been 20yrs. since ive gone in there.
