Nice beehive also, did you buy or build it? I have thought about keeping a warre hive here but family isn’t on board- yet.

Purchased the beehive, only thing we did was stain it and add a box for sugar water (hence the lighter colored box near top). It has been really fun having the bees. They really don’t bother you would definitely recommend.

Are you actively managing the bees, or did you just provide a home for a swarm to establish itself?
We give them sugar water to help them build for the winter. We will also check for mites. So, I would say we actively manage them.
