Pineberry strawberries over winter in the northeast USDA zone 6a-5b

Have never grown berries before, and limited experience gardening in general.

plan on getting some pineberry and raspberry plants.
Seems the rasp bearings (Indian Summer?) as much hardier than the strawberries.
How do I ensure they survive winters?

The tiered pot looks tempting, but how to you winterize that so they’ll make it through winter? My thought is that although it seems easier to take care of in the pot during nice weather, in ground would be more likely to survive.
Any advice would be appreciated.

thank you.

both are way hardier in your zone. id go in ground of you have the room. somewhere with afternoon shade would be ideal.
