Pink variegated lemon

Since citrus are self-thinning, your Variegated Eureka will keep and grow the number of lemons it can support with the leaves & other elements it has available to grow the fruit. My citrus generally produce a bounty of fresh blooms for us to enjoy their wonderful scents, but only a few grow into full sized fruit. Good luck with yours. BTW, I have found variegated citrus varieties to be less cold tolerant than non-variegated forms so protect yours from winter chills.

Interesting, I never knew the variegated were less cold tolerant. Mine has bloomed but no fruit set yet, maybe it got chilled. I used a meyer in a pie yesterday, and my cocktail grapefruit has 6.
