I have this apricot for two years. Not so much information or reviews about it.
It is a genetic dwarf with short internodes.
So far I like this apricot. It has good branching structure and it does grows slower than the regular apricot. I pretty much did not prune it last summer, whereas my other apricot tree received 4-5 haircuts. But what I liked the most about it so far that it is loaded with flowerbuds. Pixie sets flowerbuds on the second year wood in great abundance, whereas regular apricots usually set flowers on the third year wood. I hope that the fruits survive our spring weather and I can taste it. Here is the picture of Pixie.
Branches of Pixie apricots with multiple flowerbuds.
For the comparison the brunch of Orangered apricot, grafted on Pixie, no flowerbuds.
