What variety of plum is this? It is ripening in Nashville right now. It blooms about the same time as a typical J. Plum but never gets bit by frost. My tree is 25 years old and maybe once it lost a crop. The fruit is so so. It is sweet but little flavor. Much like a Red Delicious Apple. I think it is self fertile.
