Plum Pocket Disease

I have a Prunus Nigra ( Canada Plum) with plum pocket…I sprayed it down with Bordeaux this morning and picked them off and burned them. Is the whole tree carrying the disease or only the parts visibly affected ? It has some normal (so far) fruit developing as well…do I need to remove them…wait and see…or burn the whole tree ? It is very close to my Black Ice and several other hybrids I have and I got it mainly because I have a Pembina that I read is not well pollenized by anything else except maybe Prunus Americana, but Prunus Nigra is supposedly the best pollenizer and one of the very few ( if not the only ) that will pollenize Pembina. I would prefer to keep it for pollenation despite the fact it is also susceptible to black knot.
