I spent countless nights planning not to live close to the historic lahar routes but I guess that was for nothing

@Noddykitty at least I’m not in Puyallup or Tacoma i hope it only erupts a tiny bit if it does in our lifetime and in our children or children’s, children’s children’s lifetime…
Also it said it wasn’t supposed to rain for me for at least a few days but it’s been raining every day here in Olympia
I could be the weather man here for sure. Sunny today, w a chance of rain. Ha
I didn’t mean to personally scare you Melon. Some things are just out of our control and not worth worring about. For example, the last mega quake pushed up Bainbridge island from the sound bed, and tiger mountain in issaquah at the same time. Terrifying. Same class. lol
Do you remember the 6.3 we had around 1999? That was fun
6.8 on Feb 28, 2001? Was working in Pioneer Square, definitely was an experience.
Yes! That big one.
Would you like me to move your thread to the Regional Chat category?
That category is open to members at all levels. Anyone in your region can join. If you leave this thread in Lounge, only some members who meet the Lounge’s criteria, can access it. Even regular, long-time members may not have access Lounge if they don’t read posts frequently enough. Once you have access t Lounge, you can lose it if you are away for a while. This is how system works.
Ooo, i had no idea. Sure!
Thanks for linking to the video. It was fascinating! I always wondered why eastern Washington had lots of evidence of past mudflows while the string of active volcanoes from Mt. Baker south to Mt. Lassen were west of the Cascade crest.
Ah those college days when passionate professors would make their subjects come alive!
I knew a guy then, that was from Allentown,PA and living in Renton. It made him so nervous,he ordered a large pizza and ate the whole thing.I think Domino’s was on his speed dial.
i met 1 person for Pennsylvania this year and now that state exists for me lol. All of a sudden, i have over 5 friends from there now
It’s 95 degrees today in my little corner and the weather apps are saying 93 where they’re recording
I’ve had to water my blewbs twice today and one has magically died from this weather in the last few days. Was 92 yesterday
Yepper. 98 degrees here as the sun is going down. I have a lot of newer plants that need watering and I don’t even know that the water won’t evaporate immediately. I already get up at 4:49 (trying to give myself that 4 extra minutes and not wake up at 4:45, lol) so I can wake up properly and do a couple chores before I leave for work at 6. Might need to get up at 3:49 and do some watering with my headlamp on tomorrow am.
79 degrees! boy is it hot!
