Yesterday Janet took the arils out of the pomegranates we harvested. Today I simmered them on the stove for an hour, then ran about a pint at a time through our OXO food mill to remove the seeds. Afterwards I made pomegranate jelly with the juice.

Lucky you. Pomegranate are so expensive in Canada and not popular. I can find giant ones grown in CA at our local Costco at about 6 for 18.00$ Usually at the end of November early December but Iβm never home at that time of yearβ¦ About the only fruit missing in my jam collection. Marc
